This includes the contractually necessary recording of calls to our users’ call center, when you submit a request to us related to your order in the “AlphaDiscounters Cart” and which we may need to be able to prove.

Legal interest

It is AlphaDiscounters legitimate interest to carry out checks to prevent transaction fraud or malicious use of the AlphaDiscounters Services, as well as for the smooth operation and security of its systems, to confirm the authenticity of registered users (in order to submit comments and ratings that respond to reality), to analyze consumer trends and the profile of its users for internal research and development purposes and to direct suggestions for submitting an answer to another user’s query or product/partner store review, to specific users.

In particular, as part of the aforementioned fraud prevention controls, it is in AlphaDiscounters legitimate interest to request and receive from you and/or directly from partner merchants (or process already existing) evidence of transactions (receipts, payments, shipments, returns, cancellations, refunds, etc.) made by AlphaDiscounters users through the respective merchant partner websites. In this way, it facilitates the early detection and legal treatment of cases of fraud or misuse of AlphaDiscounters Services, by users and/or partners of AlphaDiscounters, with the ultimate goal of defending both the orderly functioning of the market and the reputation of AlphaDiscounters.

Also, to our registered users, based on electronic communications legislation, we have a legitimate interest to send satisfaction surveys and other general or personalized promotional communication through various channels, such as e-mail, SMS/Viber/Whats`App message, notification (push notification) in the AlphaDiscounters App and through social media ads. To achieve this, we automatically process your contact information (e-mail address, telephone number, IP address), advertising identifiers, as well as information about your profile and purchases. Merchant Prices of partner sellers — cookies

How it works

AlphaDiscounters services are funded by receiving commissions from partner sellers. In order to make this possible, various partner billing models are used, including the Mixed CPC/CPS billing model, in which billing is done either for a click (going to its website) or for a sales commission, depending on the product category, as well as depending on the specific AlphaDiscounters Service, S.A. product search and user referral to the trading partner’s website, AlphaDiscounters shopping cart, etc. In this context, the transaction details of the user using the AlphaDiscounters Services are processed by us. and for the purposes of billing for Services based on existing transactional relationships of users (registered or not) with us,

Mixed CPC/CPS Billing Model

In particular, if the partner billing model for sending users to your site is a Mixed CPC/CPS billing model, in which billing is carried out – depending on the category of goods – either per click or with a commission on sale, the commission calculation will be made partially with a relative record of the user’s purchase (as well as his session to it for documentation purposes) using cookies. In this case, certain cookies are considered Necessary by us to continue providing our Services to users, which is the only way to reliably calculate and settle our respective fees and commissions to partners arising from the use of our Services. For this reason, these cookies work without your consent.cookie notice. You can see in detail in the “Necessary” category which cookies we and our partners use in the context of invoicing and commissions from your purchases.

Due to the common purpose and means of processing, as well as only with respect to payment calculation elements in the CPC/CPS Mixed Billing Model described below, by law we are considered joint controllers with the relevant trading partner with whom we sign confidentiality provisions of special contractual agreements. In any case, we ask you to contact us as a competent communication channel with any request regarding the use of this technology.

What is being recorded?

The recorded purchase events (and the session to it) are the transition from AlphaDiscounters to the partner store, visiting the pages of the partner store, buying specific products and their details (order number, amount, goods, payment method, etc.), viewing time, IP address, data related to the corresponding device (for example, the version of the operating system, connection via an application or the Internet, the version of its browser, for technical support and debugging of the billing model). The above is related to the order ID, which does not directly identify the user for AlphaDiscounters. For other categories of data collected by AlphaDiscounters when activating the AlphaDiscounters Analytics service, see the corresponding example above.

The user information that we receive from partner websites in the above way can be directly linked to this user’s AlphaDiscounters account (AlphaDiscounters username) only after his own special action (for example, “Save my order on AlphaDiscounters”).

Otherwise, the data collected under the CPC/CPS mixed billing model may be considered personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, since they can identify an individual (although not directly identifying that individual). For this reason, true to our values of maximum protection of our users, we treat them in any case and in full as personal data, and we apply all appropriate technical and organizational security measures in this regard.

Relationship with AlphaDiscounters Analytics

It is emphasized that the CPC/CPS mixed billing model works in parallel and partially independently of AlphaDiscounters Analytics. That is, if you have not given your consent to the use of Performance cookies on Alphadiscounters.com, any purchases that you can make on the trading partner’s website will be registered only for the purpose of calculating and invoicing the relevant commission through “Billing”. Cookies are necessary, and not for the purposes of analysis, statistics, etc. However, if you have given your consent to the use of Performance cookies on Alphadiscounters.com, any purchases that you make on the trading partner’s website will be recorded both for the calculation and billing of the relevant deliveries, as well as for the purposes of analysis, statistics creation, etc. using AlphaDiscounters Analytics performance cookies.

How long do we keep them?

The browsing information collected by AlphaDiscounters using cookies, taking into account the Mixed CPC/CPS billing model, is considered by AlphaDiscounters as contractual personal data that can confirm the transaction and support any legal claims by AlphaDiscounters. For this reason, AlphaDiscounters will store this data for no more than five (5) years. Then these data will be deleted or completely depersonalized (that is, they will cease to be considered personal data by law).

B2B communication

If you want to contact a B2B partner store by sending a question through a special AlphaDiscounters contact form (“Request information”), you will be asked to enter an email address (filled in automatically if you are logged in to your account) and in any text the content of your request. If you wish, you can also specify your name and any company you represent.

The usefulness of mandatory information is to allow the partner B2B store to contact you, and optional information is to allow the partner B2B store to get a clearer idea of your question. For these purposes and in the context of the provision and billing of AlphaDiscounters Services selected by you, the above data is collected and processed by us, including their transfer to the relevant B2B partner store.

After filling out this special AlphaDiscounters contact form, you will receive an email from us confirming the submission of your question, and then direct contact with the B2B partner store to which you sent your question

AlphaDiscounters App

You can, instead of navigating through the AlphaDiscounters website, download the AlphaDiscounters app (AlphaDiscounters app) to your mobile device with Android or iOS software.

You can connect to the already existing registered user account you have, via Facebook, Google, AlphaDiscounters, or even Apple, if you have a device with iOS software. In cases of connection through a third party provider, the corresponding username, any e-mail and other connection details, such as a profile photo, will be used.

As a logged-in user, whether you use the AlphaDiscounters Services through our website or through the AlphaDiscounters app, your searches, saved addresses, “Favorites”, filters, the contents of your cart, etc., are stored in your profile, so you can continue your purchases and searches seamlessly from the website to the AlphaDiscounters app and vice versa.

Access to the site

When using the AlphaDiscounters app, we will ask you if you want to allow AlphaDiscounters access to the exact location (spot) of your device. This will result in us being able to show you products and stores that are closest to you.

Also, if you use functions such as shopping with the “AlphaDiscounters Cart”, the store “distance” filter, saving an address in your profile or want to know the exact calculation of the final price of a product, including shipping costs, you must to know your address, so we will ask for your authorization to automatically access your device’s exact location (spot), unless you have already given us such authorization. When you give us such authorization, we do not permanently track your current location, but only receive it at the specific time it needs to be auto-populated in one of the above fields and for that purpose only.

Alternatively, you can of course enter your address manually where necessary.

Logging tools

On the vast majority of websites (including ours), cookies are used to personalize content, analyze traffic, etc. On the contrary, in apps (including the AlphaDiscounters app) cookies are not used to achieve these personalization and analysis purposes, but other kinds of tools, such as using local storage.

As soon as you open the AlphaDiscounters app for the first time, we will inform you about the use of these tools and ask for your consent to activate those that are not necessary for the operation of the app. You can at any time be updated in detail and/or change your choice through the Privacy Settings of the AlphaDiscounters app (Profile > Privacy & Terms > Privacy Settings), even if you are not logged in to your account or do not even have a registered user account.
