Tips for Uploading Documents and Getting Verified
When you create a seller account on AlphaDiscounters, we verify the business and personal information you provide. You may be asked to submit documents to support our verification process. This page provides guidance on successfully uploading the documents required for verification.
Documents may be requested during account registration, through your Seller Dashboard (where you manage your account), or via email. We recommend regularly checking your email for any such requests.

You will need to provide the following documents:

Point of Contact Identity Documents
For all business types, you will need to provide an identity document for the point of contact. Acceptable documents include:
- Driver’s license.
- Passport or passport card.
- National ID card.
- Residence permit.
If your residential address is not shown on the document provided, an additional document is required for address verification:
- Utility bill (dated within the last 60 days).
- Phone bill (dated within the last 60 days).
Business Verification Documents
The specific documents required depend on your business type.
- For LLCs, Corporations, and other legal entities, you may need to submit:
- Certified Articles of Incorporation or Founding Agreement.
- Government-issued Business License.
- Certificate of Incorporation.
- Partnership Agreement (if applicable).
- Tax Declaration or Tax Report.
- For Sole Proprietors, you may submit:
- Government-issued ID (such as a passport, driver’s license, or national ID card).
- Business License (if applicable).
- Tax Return Form (local equivalent).
Tax Identification Number (TIN)

Purpose of TIN:
- Individual TIN: For personal tax reporting and identification. Commonly used for income tax purposes.
- Business TIN: For businesses to report income, pay taxes, and fulfill other tax-related obligations.

- To obtain or verify a TIN, you typically need to provide specific documents depending on the type of TIN and your location.
Authorized Business Representative Documents
Additional Documents: If you use a registered agent or representative, please provide a document that matches the business address in your AlphaDiscounters account. In some cases, utility bills or government-issued documents (such as tax forms) may be required for additional verification.
To confirm you are an authorized representative of the business, please submit one or more of the following documents:
- Letter of Authorization: The letter must be on your company’s letterhead and addressed to AlphaDiscounters. It should identify the full name of the individual authorized to open an account on behalf of the business. The letter must be signed by a person who has the legal authority to represent the business, such as the owner, officer, or partner.
- Partnership Agreement: The agreement should define the point of contact as a partner, agent of the partner(s), or authorized representative.
- Power of Attorney: A notarized document authorizing the point of contact to act on behalf of the business.
Document Requirements
- Documents must display the same information as used during account registration.
- Documents should be clear and not blurry.
- Full pages of the documents must be scanned.
- Documents must be current (not expired, revoked, or closed).
- The size of each document should be less than 10MB.
- Acceptable file formats include: *.png, *.tiff, *.tif, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.pdf. Do not include special characters in the file name (such as $, &, or #).
- Documents must be authentic and unaltered.
